Andrew Pickering, DVM

Dr. Andrew Pickering founded Wabash Valley Animal Hospital (WVAH) on April 14, 1974. He grew up in Terre Haute, but now resides in Pimento, Indiana. Dr. Pickering attended Indiana State University for undergraduate studies and then pursued a DVM degree from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to founding WVAH, he practiced veterinary medicine in Huntington, West Virginia.

Dr. Pickering and his wife Janet have three children and six grandkids. They also have two dogs, Ginny Pearl, a German Shorthair Pointer and her daughter Peggy Sue.  Dr. Pickering's hobbies include hunting, fishing, and playing baseball (Men's Senior Baseball League). He especially enjoys playing baseball with his two sons and grandson in Father-Son Tournaments in Chicago, Phoenix, and Fort Myers. He is primarily retired and able to enjoy his many hobbies.
